Do First Responders need an app?
No. Tapping opens instantly in a browser.

Do First Responders know to look for this?
First responders are trained to check for medical ID indicators.
VitalTag is designed to be clearly visible and accessible so critical information can be quickly located.

Do we need software installation?
No — profiles open in any browser. The Emergency Tap Page is built to function both online and offline.

Do I need a subscription?
No — VitalTag offers a basic free plan to all VitalTag Product Owners.

Can I update medications anytime?
Yes — your profile updates immediately without replacing your tag. You can update any section at any time, not just medications. All changes appear instantly upon saving.

Is this HIPAA compliant?
VitalTag is user-controlled sharing. We protect data and avoid storing unnecessary info on the tag. Every tap is Audited and the audits are viewable to the owner and our company for compliance. All information shared is owner approved.

Can I have multiple NFC Products?
Yes, and we actually recommend you have more than one to keep at separate locations (work, home, or your vehicle). VitalTag, lets you choose which tags link to which profile. Everything is in your control.

Can I share information with hospitals and clinics?
VitalTag has clinic Vaults for clinics that partner with us for easy sharing. For hospitals and clinics who do not partner with us we have an easy to share one tap solution, to quickly share medical records in just a matter of minutes.

I lost my tag — what do I do?
Contact support and we’ll help transfer your profile.

Can I change my subscription tier?
Yes — anytime, through your dashboard.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes.

Does the tag stop working if I cancel my subscription?
The physical tag still scans — but the live profile requires hosting for specific features.

Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are limited to specific circumstances. Please contact support and we’ll review your request.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
Shipping times vary by location, but most U.S. orders arrive within 3–7 business days.

What if my NFC doesn’t work?
We offer a QR backup shipped after your account is activated. You must select QR at checkout. (This is at no cost).

What if my phone is locked?
That is the best thing about VitalTag! First Responders can still access your information. VitalTag works without your phone.

Can clinics offer this to patients?
Yes — many clinics provide VitalTag as a safety program.
